The Mini-Z also manages to achieve its shaft-driven AWD system in its minimal size with a precision king-pin strut system 4-wheel independent suspension. In addition, the high efficiency drive system features a specially shaped crown gear and pinion gear in the newly designed diff gear unit. The result is a level of resistance through the drive train about the same as existing 2WD versions to produce true racing machine performance. And the focus on weight throughout means the AWD is not much heavier than the 2WD version.

However, the AWD features a high-power speed control amp with 30% more capacity than the existing 2WD chassis to bring out the best performance from the new chassis. You won't believe that so much power and performance can come from a machine so small! And the level of detail is as high as ever with a variety of body styles that match the 65mm minimum width of the chassis beautifully.
