Power is measured in Watts.

• Ampere (A) times Volts (V) equals Watts.

Example: a motor powered by an 11 Volt battery and pulling 20 A is producing a power of 220 Watts.

Kv stands for the RPM per Volta of the battery.

Ex: 1000kv with 7.4 Volt battery equal to 7400 RPM
1000kv with 11.1 volt battery equal to 11100 RPM

Note:

Motors with large Kv normally use small propeller, because the force needed to turn increases a lot with the increase of propeller size.
