Underwater Robot Chasing M2 Pro

Chasing M2 Pro is a professional underwater ROV designed for professional users and industrial applications.

M2 Pro has 8 Vectored Thrusters layout which allows OMNI movement in all directions. Compared to the CHASING M2, the M2 Pro motor has been upgraded by 50%. The maximum speed is 4 Knots, the maximum operating depth is 150 meters (490 FT) and the maximum horizontal navigation radius is 400 meters (1300FT).

M2 pro support AC and battery hybrid power supply to achieve unlimited battery life. Not only compatible with sophisticated attachments such as Grabber Claw, Floodlight and laser scaler etc., but also compatible with Control Console (High-brightness Screen), Docking station, USBL underwater positioning, 700Wh battery, Multibeam sonar, Auxiliary Camera and other M2 Pro Exclusive Enhanced Accessories.

CHASING M2 Pro offers a built in 4K/1080p and 12-megapixel EIS image stabilization camera, 4000 lumen LED lights, removable battery, and removable Micro SD memory card. The aluminum alloy compact body (weighs less than 6KG / 13lbs) allows single person operation and Quick-Deployment in 3 minutes.

It has a very small size, thin umbilical cable and very high maneuvering capability which allows operating in hard-to-reach places including inside sunken wrecks. With all directional freedom and portable design, M2 Pro has bring the revolutionary point of view (POV) for underwater photography and filmmaking.

Various power supply and unlimited battery life

Chasing M2 Pro, with truly infinite power, overcomes the weakness that the operating time of underwater ROV is limited by with battery capacity. The ROV features a quickly removable/replaceable battery, along with an AC power supply module. After connection to underwater ROV, the AC power supply module can provide continuous power for the ROV from a generator, ship's power system or standard shore-based supply. This functionality enables long working hours and truly uninterrupted operations.

In aquaculture and underwater structures inspection applications, the ROV can be fitted with an AC power supply system to continuously monitor various underwater tasks and construction tasks. In situations that require longer operations such as underwater search and rescue, the AC power supply system ensures that underwater ROV tasks are executed and uninterrupted.

Enhanced power and suitability for complex waters

Chasing M2 Pro features a 150W motor, representing a 50% increase in power compared to the previous generation of industrial-level underwater ROVs. An upgraded motor allows the ROV to reach a max speed of 2m/s and resist current from all directions with enhanced load capacity. Chasing M2 Pro has 8-thruster full vector layout, which allows it to achieve 360 degrees movement in all directions. With a maximum diving depth of 492 feet and maximum horizontal radius of 1312 feet, the ROV is suitable for long time and long-distance operation.

Chasing M2 Pro has a built-in 4K/12-megapixel EIS anti-shake camera, 4000lm LED, removable/replaceable battery, pluggable Micro SD memory card, and compact aluminum alloy body weighing less than 6kg. Chasing M2 Pro can be rapidly deployed in just 3 minutes and is a lightweight, easy-to-use, and reliable industrial-level underwater ROV, with no pre-deployment programing required.

Additional plug-in devices provide greater flexibility

In addition to compatibility with common accessories such as grabbers, LED video lights, and laser scalers, Chasing M2 Pro also works with advanced industrial accessories such as high-brightness screen control consoles, AC power supply systems, multi-interfaces docking stations, 700Wh batteries, USBL positioning systems, multibeam sonars, and auxiliary cameras (rearward facing). Chasing M2 Pro's high-level compatibility and adaptability allow it to equip the add-ons and multiple accessories at the same time for ultimate flexibility across application scenarios.

Chasing M2 Pro supports multibeam imaging sonars used to map large areas of seabed. Multibeam imaging sonars are primarily used in scenarios where mapping is required over wide-range or low visibility waters. In dark and muddy waters, sonars can map the structure of underwater objects to aid in hull inspection and dam maintenance; in search and rescue, sonars can scan and map across a wide range of waters to search for potential targets; and in scientific exploration, sonars can scan for preset targets, performing visual verification that divers do before.

Chasing M2 Pro can work with self-developed Chasing unmanned surface vehicles, using USBL system and triangulation to feedback the real-time underwater position and trajectory of the ROV. In this way, the underwater ROV can easily realize underwater positioning and underwater navigation.

The Chasing high-brightness screen control console supports control of all underwater ROVs and all the accessories. The monitor display screen enables clear images in the sunlight, while an ergonomic key layout makes operations more professional and convenient. Chasing M2 PRO can be equipped with an optional 400-meter-long cable to realize the long distance operation of the ROV. Optional laser scaler can accurately measure distance in underwater conditions.

In addition to the above-mentioned accessories, Chasing will continue to develop and release more advanced accessories such as auxiliary cameras and bottom detection sonars to meet more industrial application scenarios and make underwater exploration easier for everyone.

Anti-Stuck Motor

The patented Anti-Stuck Motor technology is adopted to greatly reduce the failure probability of the motor getting stuck in the sand, and it can operate safely and reliably in all kinds of complicated underwater environments.

Removable Micro SD memory card

The 128G Micro SD memory card is removable, download files anytime and anywhere, in addition users can choose to use Micro SD cards of different capacities, up to 512G.
